Cobweb mold vs mycelium
I'm currently in the process of trying to propagate some P.subaeruginosa mycelium (woodlover) using pieces of shroom in woodchips (to try and facilitate mycelium growth). My question, about 1.5 weeksif the fuzz grew extremely quick and spread over the whole cake in 1-2 days, then it could be cobweb. usually cobweb forms when you have high humidity and low air exchange, try leaving the lid off of the bin for an hour 1-2 times a day. If it's not white it isn't mycelium. Grey is usually cobweb.It sounds like mycelium to me but the honest answer is none of us can diagnose contams with certainty, even with photos. Cobweb is more than 5 different molds anyways. You could spray with water/hydrogen peroxide mix, that cures most cobweb type molds. It's hard for any of us to say with certainty without seeing what you're dealing with.
